So, I'm moving into a new apartment on the first, and I was thinking. Why do we really need that new apartment? That new car? The new game, or movie? I think it is us, trying to impress others. What is your take on it?

that thought sounded better in my head. but yes. everyone's insecure, so one of the most common ways to hide that is to cover it up with your pride, and by trying to impress others with an image other than yourself

I think it's because we all see what everyone else have and we want the same. We got jealous because humans we can't be content with anything but God.
